As a result of enhanced directives from the Province of Saskatchewan, LAS Offices remain closed for in-person service. We are providing the information below to assist you with contacting our offices, or in referring Saskatchewanians to our service.

  • Although LAS offices are closed to the public, we continue to help Saskatchewanians who require our services.

  • Although our offices are closed to the public, there are staff in our offices each day. The office mail, email addresses and fax lines are operational. A list of offices can be found at https://www.legalaid.sk.ca/contact/office_list.php.

  • All voicemail and email accounts are regularly monitored.

  • If a Legal Aid client has an upcoming court matter, they should contact their lawyer regarding their court date if they have not already heard from them.

  • If an individual does not have a lawyer, please contact our Application Center at 1-800-667-3764 to apply.

  • Information regarding court dates in the various court points can be found at the Sask Law Courts website at www.sasklawcourts.ca.

  • Telephone Duty Counsel (Brydges Service) will continue to be available 24/7 for individuals arrested or detained by police. Individuals who are in custody and wish to access this service should advise the detaining officer.

  • Please be patient when contacting LAS. We are experiencing a high volume of calls and emails due to the changes to the Courts.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation at this time.

Regards,

Craig Goebel, CEO
