Partnership is the cornerstone of the Telling Our Story project. We literally could not have done this project without the amazing commitment of our partners, MBC Radio, CJWW, SNTC and Eaglefeather News. They have each done countless small and large things to make the program work, and fit the budget and timeframes.

The Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission is very grateful to them for the support and enthusiasm they have shown to make this project innovative, creative, and focused on the objectives.

"Many challenges were faced and overcome by creative problem-solving throughout this process," said Suzanne Paschall, project coordinator. "The partners were with us all the way, and believed in the project and its goals so completely that at times it seemed like we were all part of one organization- part of the story-telling circle itself."

The communications challenges around making complex legal issues easy to understand, as well as trying to meet the communciations preferences of the client base were just two issues, she said.
