The Telling Our Story Issues

There are six issues that are explored in the Telling Our Story program. These are the six most common issues on which clients told us they wanted more information. They are:

1.   Plea Bargaining

2.   Conditional Sentencing

3.   Sentencing Circles

4.   Child Protection

5.   Bail  

6.   Quality of Legal Aid Services

You will find several different kinds of information presentations on these topics on the multi-media presentation, depending on which circle you choose. In the right-hand quadrant (yellow), you will find both short audio presentations and longer video presentations on each of the subjects.

In the left hand quadrant (blue), you will find these same subjects in print form, only in this instance they are a "transcript" of a typical conversation between a lawyer and client on these subjects. You can print these out and read the hard copy if you prefer.

The Welcome Message in the top quadrant (white) will also explain this verbally.
